The Footprinter platform has been designed to enable Best Foot Forward to
create custom-branded front-ends or integrate the underlying database with your existing applications.
Not all businesses are the same, some have complex internal business systems that track their KPIs; some have a strong brand identity which they wish to apply across all of their systems; some work with very specific materials and systems unique to their organisation and the products they produce.
In recognition of this, it is possible for Footprinter to be customised in many ways:
- A new 'skin' can be created to change the visual identity of the tool and allow it to be branded by your organisation. This would allow a version of the tool to be presented to your customers as your own application, whilst knowing that the data and logic behind it are best of breed, using Best Foot Forward's footprinting expertise.
- If you already have your own application which now needs to include carbon footprint figures for different events or entities within it, then the Footprinter database can be interfaced into your application via open web based technologies such as SOAP or a RESTful API.
- We can supply the all of the billing, customer management tools and marketing web site that will enable you to sell your custom branded version of Footprinter to your clients and profit from each subscription, whilst Best Foot Forward look after the job of ensuring that the footprint data is kept up to date.
